PENGENALAN
HANDBOOK
Program pengajian Diploma Kejuruteraan Perkhidmatan Bangunan direkabentuk untuk melengkapkan pelajar dengan pengetahuan teoritikal,kemahiran teknikal dan tingkah laku yang diperlukan dalam bidang operasi dan penyenggaraan perkhidmatan bangunan.
Pelaksanaan aktiviti pengajaran dan pembelajaran program pengajian ini dijalankan di kampus, makmal, bengkel dan industri berkaitan yang meliputi skop kerja dalam mengenali rekabentuk sistem bagi memastikan kerja pengoperasian dan penyenggaraan bangunan berjalan lancar serta memenuhi kehendak industri, pelanggan dan masyarakat.
Program pengajian ini memberi pengetahuan yang komprehensif tentang perkhidmatan bangunan yang terdapat dalam bangunan seperti sistem pencahayaan, sistem perpaipan, sistem pencegah kebakaran, sistem pengudaraan dan penyaman udara, sistem elektrik dan lif serta eskalator. Mereka juga akan dilatih bagi menguasai kemahiran keusahawanan supaya dapat menyumbang kepada pertumbuhan ekonomi sejajar dengan pembangunan negara.
Pelajar juga akan menjalani latihan industri bagi menyediakan graduan kepada sektor pekerjaan yang berlainan dalam industri kerana kemahiran dan pengetahuan yang diperoleh amat berguna untuk industri yang serba moden ini.
Kemahiran insaniah, kemahiran berkomunikasi dan kerja berpasukan juga diterapkan kepada pelajar supaya mereka dapat berkomunikasi, berinteraksi dan bekerja secara berpasukan denga penuh bertanggungjawab dan berkesan. Segala pengetahuan dan kemahiran yang diperolehi oleh pelajar amat berguna untuk membina kerjaya atau pun melanjutkan pelajaran ke peringkat lebih tinggi dalam bidang kejuruteraan perkhidmatan bangunan dan pengurusan fasiliti. Lulusan diploma ini juga boleh melanjutkan pelajaran mereka ke peringkat Ijazah Sarjana Muda di universiti – universiti tempatan atau di luar negara.

Upon completion of the programme, students should be able to:

- Apply knowledge of applied mathematics, applied science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialisation as specified in DK1 to DK4 respectively to wide practical procedures and practices

- Mendapat TIGA (3) kepujian dalam mata pelajaran berikut:
- Matematik
- SATU (1) matapelajaran Sains/Teknikal/Vokasional/Elektif STEM
- SATU (1) matapelajaran lain yang belum diambilkira kepujiannya
- Calon tidak mempunyai ketidakupayaan penglihatan (buta, buta warna), pendengaran, pertuturan, fizikal atau pembelajaran yang menyukarkan kerja-kerja amali.
